My interest in public service began immediately after graduating from high school. I joined the local volunteer fire department and began training to become a professional firefighter and paramedic. I enrolled at Fairmont State University in Fairmont, West Virginia, where I graduated with an associate of applied science degree in Emergency Medical Services. Upon graduation, I served numerous communities as both a volunteer firefighter and paramedic. I later enrolled in Public Administration at Point Park University and quickly changed gears into municipal management. I am currently finishing my Mater of Public Policy and Management from the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh. I enjoy working in municipal management and I receive great satisfaction in helping others.
