The Office of The City Attorney performs many vital services:

• Provides all legal opinions for the City of Clarksburg
• Is legal counsel for all City Boards and Authorities, except the Urban Renewal Authority, and Municipal Building Commission
• Prepares and reviews all City contracts and agreements
• Researches and prepares City ordinances
• Prosecutes litigation
