Mayor Catherine Goings presented Sam “Zeke” Lopez with a plaque for his 20 years of public service to the City of Clarksburg. This evening marks his final City Council Meeting.  Lopez has served the City as councilmember since 1997 as well as Vice Mayor and held the highest honor of Mayor for two consecutive terms from 2003 – 2007.

Mayor Catherine Goings stated, “If I ever wanted an unbiased opinion, Zeke was my go to.  I want to thank you for your 20 years of service, you have always had the City’s best interest at heart as well as the residents of our community.”

Thank you for caring about our community and being a part of Clarksburg’s “Proud Past and Unlimited Future”.
