Healthy Harrison is a workplace health and wellness program sponsored by West Virginia University and United Hospital Center.  The program, which launched in 2017, is aimed at improving the health and wellness of the citizens of Harrison County and ultimately the entire state.

The program was opened to the first 50 City of Clarksburg employees to sign up and lasted three months.  Healthy Harrison provided exercise physiologist, registered dietitian and motivational coaches.

Mayor Catherine Goings stated, "This has been an eye-opening experience to learn how a few simple changes in one's diet or exercise activity can have a huge positive impact on our health and well-being. I am grateful to have been a part of it."

Director John Paul Nardelli said the program was born out of a desire to change perceptions about health and wellness in the state.
