Members of the Harrison County Elks Lodge 2875 presented the Clarksburg Fire Department with a $1,000 donation to put towards their “Operation Warm” program.

Operation Warm provides brand new coats to area children in need.

Clarksburg Firefighter Mark Walsh stated, ““The need in our community for this program continues to grow.  Each year we are distributing more coats to area children.  Both the schools and the families look forward to this program.  It is definitely more than just a coat to the kids, schools, and families.”

The Clarksburg Fire Department has already donated and distributed over 200 winter coats this school year. This is the 4th year they have partnered with Operation Warm.
