The Clarksburg Fire Department will be having Fire Truck rides for “Fire Prevention Week” with a drive for food for The Mustard Seed, a local volunteer organization that provides food and clothing to the disadvantaged of Central West Virginia.

On Sunday, October 9th from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM, your children will be entertained with a ride on a fire truck through the streets of Clarksburg and refreshments will also be provided for the children.

A donation of two (2) or more cans of food is all that is necessary for admission to this fun filled afternoon.  It all takes place at the Central Fire Station at the corner of Main and Sixth Streets in downtown Clarksburg.  Rain date is October 16th.  Bring all the kids out for fun and fire safety!

Fire Prevention Week runs from October 9th through October 15th.  The Clarksburg Fire Department will have fire prevention materials on hand for families to obtain.
