Congratulations to the City of Clarksburg for the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center Project, along with its construction and design team which included March-Westin Company, WYK Architects and ZDS Design Consulting Services.
The Associated Builders and Contractors of West Virginia (ABCWV) awarded the team the 2018 Eagle Award for “Industrial-Historical Renovation: Less than $25 Million” for their work in the restoration and revitalization of the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center.
The award is based on a number of criteria including the design, scope, scale and quality performance of the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center project.
Bryan Hoylman, ABCWV President stated, “This project had many challenges due to the unknowns about the existing structure and March-Westin Company was able to overcome those challenges. It was a pleasure to be able to present an award to all those involved in this remarkable project.”
March-Westin Company was the successful bidder on the project and the agreement was executed by the City of Clarksburg in February 2017.
Clarksburg City Manager Martin Howe stated, “It was a pleasure working with March-Westin throughout the project. We knew there could be several unknowns going into the project, in addition they were very accommodating with providing additional information to assist the City with complying with many of the reporting requirements for the New Market Tax Credits.”
