Clarksburg Area Florist

Clarksburg Area Florist

For over 40 years Betsy Tennant has been bringing award winning floral designs to the Clarksburg area, and for the last 10 years, Betsy has owned and operated Clarksburg Area Florist. Tennant began her career in the flower business when she took a part time job at Weber’s Flowers, which was the florist of its day. Not only did she have the opportunity to work for the florist of the day, but she learned from the florist of the day, Bill Weber.

When Betsy made the choice to open Clarksburg Area Florist, she actually came out of retirement to do so. She made the choice to make sure the Clarksburg area had top quality flowers. Not only is Tennant an award winning designer, but she is also assisted in her business by another award winning designer, Jonie, who has also been designing for 30+ years.

With the type of experience that Clarksburg Area Florist has to offer, a customer is sure to get their monies worth out of any product purchased from Clarksburg Area Florist. Clarksburg Area Florist offers flowers for any occasion. They can provide designs for gravesides and funerals, potted plants, birthdays, holidays, weddings, and balloons or stuffed animals can be included in a design. Clarksburg Area Florist offers unique designs, and can provide seasonal arrangements for any occasion. Clarksburg Area Florist does have a website for its customers to order from, but Tennant explained, “It’s best to call for orders, it gives a better sense of what the customer is looking for. Designs that are ordered online will be more extravagant than what is pictured.”

Out of season flowers are never out of season for the florist. Tennant can take special orders for flowers that most would imagine to be unavailable during certain times of the year. Tennant will also do custom decoration for people’s homes. Along with homes, Clarksburg Area Florist will also decorate businesses, churches, and anything in between.

Clarksburg Area Florist boasts a fantastic rating, and the reviews of the florist’s work can be found by doing a quick Google search. More information can be found on their website. The florist is open Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm and Saturdays 9am-12pm.

This is part of an ongoing series where the City of Clarksburg will "spotlight" businesses located within our Central Business District. #CityofClarksburg #Eat #Shop #Play #Arts #Community
