The Bid Opening for the Winding Way Upper Slip Repair Project took place Tuesday, October 30, 2018 in the City Manager’s Conference Room within City Hall. A two (2) envelope bid opening system was utilized. The submitted bid was opened by Assistant City Manager Anthony Bellotte. The City retained Civil and Environmental Consultants, Inc (CEC) which was represented by Engineer Greg Linder and Project Manager Scott Roberts.
Clarksburg City Council will consider awarding the bid at its regularly scheduled 6:00 PM Council Meeting Thursday, November, 2018. A project signing/pre-construction meeting will be scheduled shortly thereafter. At conclusion of meeting, a Notice to Proceed will be issued.
The project will consist of constructing 96 linear feet of piling and lagging wall as well as repairing approximately 200 linear feet of concrete roadway.
The project will be completed during the winter months.
A non-mandatory bid conference was held Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 10:00 AM.
