Shaffer Madia Law

shaffer madia law

Established in February, 2015, Shaffer Madia Law works for the people. After having two (2) separate, successful law careers, Joe Shaffer and Sam Madia came together to form Shaffer Madia law. “It’s nice just working for yourself, taking care of the people and just getting back to the practice of law,” said Sam.

Before forming their own practice, Joe previously practiced privately in his own firm and then was the Harrison County Prosecuting Attorney for 12 years, while Sam worked for a larger firm mainly focusing in civil defense cases. Both attorneys have years of experience behind them, and areas of practice that have allowed them to establish a successful law firm. Shaffer Madia focuses, but is not limited to the areas of, Family, Criminal, Civil, Employment, and Injury Law.

At Shaffer Madia Law, they try and get the best outcome as possible for whomever they are representing. They not only provide their legal services, but they try and point their client towards services or a direction that would be beneficial to themselves. “If we have a client who has a drug problem, we’ll try provide them with resources to get them into a rehabilitation program, and promote the steps they need to take to better their lives,” explained Madia.

Shaffer Madia Law boasts two locations, one in uptown Clarksburg, located conveniently by the courthouse, and their location in Morgantown. Shaffer Madia Law has experience handling cases in nearly every county in West Virginia.

Shaffer Madia Law is located at 343 W. Main Street Clarksburg, WV 26301 and 1056A Maple Drive Morgantown, WV 26505.  For more information about their law firm you can visit their website or follow them on Facebook at Shaffer Madia Law PLLC
